Head-on shot Escena frontal Toma de frente a shot in which the action moves or comes directly toward or at the camera, to enhance the audience’s feelings of participation.
 High-angle shot Escena d’angle alt Toma de alto angulo a shot in which the subject or scene is filmed from above and the camera points down on the action.
Long shot(LS) Escena llarga Toma llarga a shot of lengthy duration.
Freeze  Congelar Congelar an optical printing effect in which a single frame image is identically repeated over several frames; when projected, it gives the illusion of a still photograph in which the action has ceased.
 Helicopter shot Escena des d’un helicopter  Toma des de un helicoptero an establishing shot from a bird’s eye view or from overhead, usually taken from a helicopter.
JUmp cut  Bot tallat Salto cortado an abrupt, disorienting transitional device in the middle of a continuous shot in which the action is noticeably advanced in time and/or cut between two similar scenes.
Handled shot  Escena de ma Toma de mano a shot taken with a hand-held camera or deliberately made to appear unstable, shaky or wobbly.
 Insert shot Escena insertada Toma insertada a shot that occurs in the middle of a larger scene or shot, that draws audience attention, provides specific information, or simply breaks up the film sequence.
Intercut shot Escena entrellaçades  Toma entrelazada refers to a series of shots, consisting of two simultaneous events, that are alternated together to create suspense.
 High-angle shot  xxxxx  xxxxx a camera view of an object or character from a considerable distance so that it appears relatively small in the frame.
 Master shot  Escena original  Toma original refers to filming in the exact order required for the final product.
Long take Escena llarga  Toma larga a continuous shot or long take that shows the main action or setting of an entire scene.
 In- camera editing Edicio en la camara Edicion en la camara refers to a camera shot in which the camera remains immobile, while something happens off-screen.
Medium shot Ecena mitjana Toma media refers to a conventional camera shot filmed from a medium distance.
 Low-angle shot  Escena de baix angle Toma de baix angle a shot in which the subject is filmed directly from below and the camera tilts up at the action or character.
